Magazine by Canadian Atlantic Lobster Inc., available at visitor centres in Maritime provinces, Sobeys, other locations
The first edition of a new magazine promoting Atlantic Canada lobster is hot off the presses.
The free LobsterLand magazine, produced by Canadian Atlantic Lobster Inc., is available at Visitor Information Centres in the three Maritime provinces as well as in Sobeys seafood departments, Vernon d'Eon Fishing Supply locations, onboard the Nova Star Ferry, and in various businesses throughout the Maritimes.
An on-line version is available on the Lobster.ca website.
"The magazine is a giant leap forward," says Canadian Atlantic Lobster Inc. CEO, Patrick Swim. "It's one step in the ‘system reset' of the lobster industry and coastal economies, and things are only going to get better for the industry, tourism and the coastal economies."
The first edition lets readers in on comedian Jimmy Flynn's dream of hosting the Guinness Book World's biggest lobster party.
If everything goes according to plan, thousands of people will be feasting on Atlantic Canada lobster at the Rogers Centre in Toronto during Canada Day 150th anniversary celebration in 2017
